I was born in Vietnam, where growing up opened my eyes to the real struggles faced by developing countries. Seeing firsthand how limited resources create inefficiencies that hinder the development progress gave me a deep appreciation for the need to find innovative solutions. This understanding evolved into a strong passion for AI and robotics—fields with the potential to revolutionize industries by optimizing processes, reducing manual labor, and enhancing productivity. As these technologies advance, improving AI and robotics performance has become a central focus of my work. I focus on advancing AI and robotics through adaptive algorithms and methods, especially in the field of HRI, aiming to push these fields forward in meaningful ways. This journey has been a key part of shaping who I am today—not just as a scientist and engineer but also as someone who loves solving real-world problems. Outside of work, I have a wide range of interests, including reading, collecting, cooking, gardening, photography, traveling, and gaming (I’m a Challenger - top 0.1% - Teamfight Tactics auto-chess player; I also have beaten Elden Ring and other Souls games).
